Job Title: Quality Engineer

The successful candidate will work closely with R&D and manufacturing to monitor and improve quality efforts. Develop risk analysis documents as required to support development and manufacturing decisions. Design and implement process and facility validation programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform Root Cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative measures to improve product quality
  • Initiate and lead project teams on CAPA, NCR and Failure Analysis investigations
  • Maintain CAPA, NCR and Failure Analysis databases
  • Use Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Fish Bone Diagram, Risk Analysis, or other appropriate quality tools to define and manage risk or identify root cause of failures
  • Work closely with R&D, manufacturing and QC to produce products that meet specifications and perform as designed
  • Define, develop and improve manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Assist in the transfer of newly developed products from R&D to Manufacturing
  • Writing and executing test plans, analyzing data and creating test reports
  • Support Clinical team with customer complaints including product issues
  • Support design engineering team with development of receiving inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and sampling plans in accordance with industry standards as required
  • Lead MRB to determine and resolve issues with received material
  • Maintain quality system, manufacturing, calibration, inspection, and maintenance procedures as required
  • Perform validations of processes, equipment, and test methods as required
  • Perform internal and supplier qualification audits as required. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of audit plans, audit reports, and verifying corrective actions have been completed and are effective


  • Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (EE preferred) or a related field and/or a combination of > 5 years practical and educational experience in the medical device industry is required
  • Fluent with Excel spreadsheets
  • Reading engineering drawings (e.g. SolidWorks®, AutoCAD®, etc.)
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of CFR 820 and ISO 13485
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Self-motivated organized team player with high ethical standards

    Job Title: Senior ASIC Design Engineer/ Group Leader

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upgrade IC CAD tools such as (Cadence/Xlinix/Calibre)
  • Perform IC Layout, both top level and analog layout
  • Organize design review meetings and get ready for tape out submission
  • Interface with foundries and vendors during the design, simulation, integration and testing of ASIC ICs
  • Provide leadership within the ASIC group and manage daily activities of all ASIC design engineers if needed
  • Communicate with other group leaders/project managers within the company to identify ASIC design requirements, provide design directions, prepare the integrated IC design for tape out


  • Minimum skills, education, knowledge and abilities that are required in order to perform the job:

  • Successful applicant should have a bachelor degrees in electrical, electronic engineering, physics or other related fields
  • At least 5-year research and development experience
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience in medical device design is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Cadence IC CAD tools is a must
  • Familiar with Linux Operating Systems
  • Supervisory responsibility may be required
  • Leadership and management skills a plus

    Job Title: Senior RF Communication Engineer

    Researches, develops, designs and tests RF circuits used for power transmission and communication between implanted medical devices and external instruments by performing the following duties:

  • Specifies, designs, builds, analyzes and simulates various circuits for RF amplifiers, transmitters, antenna coupling circuits and receivers
  • Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment and determines methods, procedures and conditions for testing products
  • Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks associated with RF power transmission and communication
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with other designers, service agencies and contractors
  • Defines instrumentation requirements and specifications as necessary to validate system design


  • Minimum skills, education, knowledge and abilities that are required in order to perform the job:

  • Successful applicant should have a Bachelors degree in electrical, electronics engineering, physics or other related fields
  • At least 10-year research and development experience
  • Experience in medical device design is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with FCC frequency regulation is a plus
  • Supervisory responsibility may be required
